I’m Danial from sunny Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and welcome to Dan On The Road!
Dan On The Road started as a pet project for me to write about my own travel experiences, especially after going on an 18-city, 45-day train trip across the United States back in summer of 2010. Although memories last forever, they do fade over time so a blog is the right platform to jot down everything from the time I spent a night at a town dubbed “The Sex Change Capital of the US” to feasting on the most scrumptious barbecue in the whole of the Midwest.
Over time, this blog evolved from just anecdotes to a more diversified offering. I now talk about the many aspects that I love about traveling – food, people, culture and history – and how my way of moving about has changed with the arrival of our first born son, now a budding explorer himself.
I do hope my writings here would inspire you to fully immerse yourself in the joys of traveling like I do!
